METAR lookup restored. The Aviation Weather Center (aviationweather.gov) moved its data feed, and the calculator now uses the new one.
METAR auto-fill. Altimeter setting, temperature and wind speed now fill in from the current METAR, with the reported wind direction and observation time shown. For gusty winds, choose steady, peak gust, or steady plus half the gust factor.
Altimeter display. Altimeter settings now always show two decimals (for example 30.00).
Unit toggles. Switching between inches and hPa, or between °C and °F, now converts the value in the field.
Secure connection. The site now runs through Cloudflare, and www.cdfacalc.com works again (it forwards to cdfacalc.com).
No cookies. The site no longer sets any cookies.
Cleanup. Reviewed every reference link: updated the ones that had moved, replaced or removed the ones that went offline, pointed to the current FAA advisory circular (AC 120-108A), and fixed garbled characters.
